Our Process

01.

Grind down the concrete to a workable surface so both our primer and our overlay system will adhere securely.

02.

Lay down epoxy primer to seal in texture and create a moisture barrier.
Apply aggregate to primed surfaces (usually two or three coats to ensure a varied texture).

03.

Apply two coats of acrylic sealant.

Had a great experience with Garage Up. They installed Flow Walls and then Gladiator shelves. If you look at the pricing on most companies’ websites, Garage Up charges a reasonable price with a reasonable labor charge. They deal with the supply side and just show up with the gear, then deal with finding studs and all that nonsense, and turn some pretty bare-bones metal pieces into a really nice, functional system. If you think building shelves is like Legos, think again! It’s a huge pain and well worth paying for someone to do it for you. We bought eight feet of Flow Wall and two 2x8 overhead racks. Very useful and would definitely recommend.
